With a natural inclination towards the sciences, Ali has studied or worked in the fields of robotics, autonomous systems and systematic reviews since completing his BSc in Biological Sciences at the University of Greenwich in 2017.

Ali has worked with OXSREV for the last 3 years on a range of projects for organisations such as DEFRA and IUFRO, conducting systematic reviews, administering training and helping to provide insight and analysis.

Ali has a particular interest in the Environmental sciences and the application of technology to identify and solve the problems of today, by filling in research gaps and guiding policy.
